SLC NEGLECT

These are the truck wheel marks on the grass by the new bus stop hazard the Teflonese have put on West Mains Rd. These along with the damaged footpath below are typical of the damage you see all over the town by contractors, who just pick up there cheque and whistle all the way to the bank, my bloody poll tax being wasted by lazy managers and inspectors, who manage and inspect nothing.
Above is the stupid pointless islands erected by the Teflonese. What the hell does this do? Why not put a proper lay by in where the bus can draw in properly out of the traffic and not stuck out on the busy road causing a dangerous hazard? By proper I mean one of sufficient length and width to allow a full sized bus to draw in and out without the driver having to leave the arse end on the road, like they are now in the rest of the town. "Ah but if you do that, other people will park there."

Mon 3rd. PM. Have just come back from dog walking patrol, and watched in horror as a speeding overtaking boy racer locked his wheels and slid past this on the wrong side of the road. OK you can say, he shouldn't have been speeding or overtaking. Does that justify putting a fecking great metal pole in the middle of a busy road? If you hit that you are going to be dead or badly injured, WHY. If speeding is an issue put a camera there or a flashing speed limit sign. Why create hazards? I am sure we will be hearing about a crash here very soon. Someone told me today that there are only two bobbies available in EK during the night shift. For a town like this with 90,000 odd inhabitants that is shocking, if true. I shall enquire. there was a crash at the end of our road one day, where a speeder hit a wee wifie in her car head on. There was broken legs and some bad cuts etc. The fire brigade arrived first as the woman was trapped, then the ambulance within 20 minutes. We are still waiting to see the police and that was three years ago.

I honestly think that these decisions are taken by bloody minded jobs worths who have nothing better to do than think up ever more ways to make driving more unpleasant and hazardous and expensive than it already is. The traffic Taliban, "get then out of their cars, let the barstewards walk," soon it will only be goverment cars on the road, remember the USSR where the clip board and the state was King. Seems like Putin is taking it back there according to the news.

NICE ONE GUYS. INSPECTED EVERY 2 WEEKS EH! MY ARSE, THIS LAMP POST HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR MONTHS. OH AND WHILE WE ARE HERE CHECK OUT THE NICE WEE BOATING POND BEHIND IT CREATED BY THESE MAD TEFLONESE WHO LOVE TO BUILD HAZARDS SHOULD THE RESIDENTS GET TO BORED AND FEEL THEIR KIDS WILL BE SAFE WALKING TO SCHOOL... IS IT ANY WONDER WE HAVE THE MUMMY RUN IN THE MORNING WITH 4 WHEEL DRIVES FULL OF SCHOOL KIDS ALL BEEN DRIVEN TO SCHOOL.

SLC NEGLECT

Live wires hanging out of a lamp post.
Here is another lamp post in the park with live wires hanging out.

In the above shot we see a footpath that was laid last year alongside West Mains Rd. at the junction with Fairfield. In the distance where the white truck is, they installed a choke point of some kind last week, along side a bus stop, creating a dangerous hazard on a busy road. What is wrong with putting in a bus sized lay by at the bus stop, to protect the bus and the passengers. There was an accident a few years ago in another part of town where a truck hit the rear nearside of the bus, killing a passenger, with crazy road planning like this is it any wonder these things happen.

The point of this picture is to show the cracks in the new footpath where the contractors vehicles were driven during the construction of the hazard last week, so another footpath ruined by laziness and vandalism. Why am I concerned. Last year I paid over £1500 to these people, and will again this year, I have every right to be concerned about shoddy stupid work like this. Manager and Inspectors what the hell do you do all day?

This was where I saw the two men working yesterday, they were removing graffiti. My God the place is a flood plain and hazard zone and all these guys can do is turn up in their pick up and clean a wee green box, what a joke what a bloody farce.
So the above flood is built up with it having rained for the past 12 hours or so, not heavy rain but steady light rain. Imagine what this becomes in heavy rain?
You have a proper wee loch being created here SLC. The only problem I have now is how long do I wait before reporting this, I saw another lady looking at this today so maybe it has been reported. But I am going to wait until Friday.

Still blocked guys well done. I think I will apply under the FOI act to see the risk assessment on this culvert.
